Communications in Information Literacy (CIL) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal devoted to the advancement of information literacy research, practice, theory, and opinion. The journal’s primary focus is information literacy in higher education. CIL is independently published and welcomes contributions from around the world.

Evidence Based Library and Information Practice (EBLIP) is a peer reviewed, open access journal published quarterly by the University of Alberta Library. EBLIP publishes original research and commentary on the topic of evidence based library and information practice, as well as reviews of previously published research (evidence summaries) on a wide number of topics.

Journal of eScience Librarianship (JeSLIB) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal advancing the theory and practice of librarianship focusing on services related to data-driven research in science, technology, engineering, math, social sciences, medicine, and public health. JeSLIB explores the many roles of librarians in supporting eScience and welcomes articles by contributors from all areas of the globe related to education, outreach, collaborations, policy, tools, and best practices. JeSLIB publishes articles as they become available for publication, following a thorough review process. Articles are collected together into issues throughout the year, with occasional special issues.
Library and Information Research is an open access journal; all articles are accessible free of charge. There are no submission or article processing charges for articles submitted to LIR. (LIR) is published by CILIP’s Library and Information Research Group (LIRG). LIRG supports and raises the profile of library and information science research and its use by CILIP members and the wider community. The Philippine Journal of Librarianship and Information Studies (PhJLIS) continues the work of the Journal of Philippine Librarianship (JPL), beginning with vol. 39, no. 1. This semi-annual refereed academic journal publishes articles discussing issues and developments from all fields in the area of librarianship and information studies. The first issue of the journal was released in 1968, and starting from 2019, it assumed its current name. All articles are freely available , publish twice a year featuring both research articles and editorials.
